Christen Købke: Danish Master of Light
This month National Gallery in London presents the first monographic exhibition of paintings by Christen Købke ever to be shown outside Denmark. Købke is arguably one of the greatest talents of Denmark’s Golden Age, yet a solo exhibition of his work outside his homeland has eluded him until now. This major show will demonstrate the artist’s unique sense of light and atmosphere combined with an appreciation for Denmark's medieval monuments to create solemn architectural silhouettes.

Surviving relatives attend Iraq memorial ceremony
In remembrance: 13 bereaved Danish family members and their four contact officers attended the Basra Memorial Wall Dedication Ceremony yesterday. The ambassador of Denmark was also present, among many dignitaries.

Original 20th Century Furniture: For three weeks only, The Modern Danish Warehouse will open a pop-up shop in Knightsbridge where a carefully edited selection of vintage pieces is up for grabs. Three new ministers
Following this week's reshuffle in the Danish cabinet, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs got three new ministers; Minister for Foreign Affairs Ms Lene Espersen, Minister for Development Cooperation Mr Søren Pind and Minister for Nordic Cooperation Ms Karen Ellemann.
